This course is an attempt to satisfy: the clinical needs of senior veterinary students who wish to have an in-depth understanding of some neurologic diseases and, the research method knowledge of graduate students in VCM.
Emphasis will be on intellectual advancement rather than the type of clinical details readily available in a textbook.
Students will be expected to read some quoted and accessible recent publications.

1. Spinal cord trauma.
2. Infectious, metabolic and vascular cord diseases.
3. Brain trauma.
4. Metabolic, infectious and malignant brain diseases.
5. Vascular and toxic brain diseases.
6. Seizures and epilepsy.
7. Immune mediated peripheral nervous diseases.
8. Traumatic peripheral nervous diseases.
9. Polymyopathies.
10. Neuromuscular diseses such as myasthenia gravis.
